The Locanda Bellavita is a very special place as is Arezzo. There is so much to see and do in this small town and the location is perfect for walking to many historic locations while being in a non-tourist location. Stefano, the owner is a true "Renaissance" man and loves the work of art that he has created from a very large basement. Everything is up to date and exceeds all but the very finest hotels. It is a place you will always remember with love and fondness. Stefano, you exceeded all of our expectations. We felt like you were family from the minute we arrived. We will never forget all you did for us to make our stay outstanding. We are still marveling at your culinary skills and attention to every little detail. We hope to return. Truly a Magical Place ! We have rented vacation homes for 20+ years and this by far was the best rental we have ever had the pleasure to call "Our Home" for a week. The pictures do not do it justice. From the moment Stephano let us in the door, we are impressed with the beauty and warmth of the space. The quality of the workmanship is remarkable and even more impressed to know that Stephano did the work himself. The location is perfect, close enough to the center of Arezzo to walk, but far enough to enjoy a peaceful stroll with the locals. Coming home each evening to a roaring fire, a glass of wine and smooth jazz, truly made us fell like "LA Dolce Vita". If you are looking for an exeptional rental and want live life like a local....this is the place for you.

Truly the Good Life!!! Stefano is an exceptional super host!!! We will cherish the memories of our first family vacation because of Stefano's amazing attention to detail. He helped us organize our travel and luggage. He went out of his way to pick us up from the train station and even got a high chair for our baby daughter (who fell in love with him and his warmth). The guest home is beautiful and so well equipped. The renovations are stunning. The kitchen and bathroom are luxurious, and modern. The bed is very comfortable and the place is so cozy, especially by the fire on cool Tuscan nights in Nov. Location is perfect! We walked to everything and enjoyed many top sites, restaurants, cafes and shopping in the historic centre. We can see our family visiting Stefano again in the future. Arezzo is a wonderful city and you simply must stay at Locanda Bellavita it is good for your soul.

“stefano truly put his heart into this place. the design is breathtaking and much larger than the photos show. this place was easily the best part of our holiday. whether it was sitting by the grand fireplace, cooking in his pristine kitchen, or soaking in the impeccable bathtub, it was all magical and surreal. the apartment itself is also very centrally located to all the great shops but on a quiet block away from the bustle. i can't wait to stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone coming to arezzo and/or the tuscany area!! thank you! ”
