“The Locanda Bellavita is an utterly perfect apartment. The property has been loving restored by the host, Stefano, who was immediately helpful, gracious and incredibly welcoming and generous on our arrival. He evidently has a wonderful eye for detail as the apartment has been furnished and decorated in a modern, fresh and stylish manner and remains sympathetic and faithful to the historic building it occupies - the exposed brick and stone work throughout the apartment is a delight. The property was an ideal base as it was easy walking distance to the centre and near the city walls if you have car (parking is not permitted for tourists within the city walls). It's perfect for summer as the rooms stay cool and the kitchen was well equipped and excellent for dining in. I imagine it would be lovely and cozy in winter as there is a huge open fireplace with a comfy living area. I couldn't recommend this apartment highly enough.
