The earlier reviewers do not exaggerate. Stefano creation is a work of art. Upon seeing the photographs we changed our itinerary just to stay there. And we are delighted that we did. Arezzo itself is an exceptional town. And Locanda Bellavita is even more gorgeous in person. My wife and I wandered around in awe for first 30 minutes drinking in every meticulous detail. It is quite aptly named. Stefano and Lucia clearly possess an aesthetic sensibility of the "Good Life". They even keep our favorite Belgian Ale in stock. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were very helpful and remained in good communication throughout. The family-owned trattoria they recommended yielded our best meal in Tuscany. The neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and conveniently located within easy walking distance of the heart of Arezzo. We happened to be traveling by motorcycle and were able to park within a few paces of the front door. We really look forward to returning to Locanda Bellavita next year. Needless to say we highly recommend it.
